Occupational Training provides safety, health, and environmental training. We presented our first course, an 8 hour Hazardous Waste refresher, in May 1993. Since then our course schedule has expanded to offering several courses on a regular basis. since February 2002 our online training now makes some courses available around-the-clock. Convenience of training has allowed our company to grow.

Since our first course our philosophy toward training has stayed the same. First, all efforts are made to provide high quality training, which not only complies with federal requirements, but also conforms to industry practice. Next we want all courses to be relevant to each participant. We do this by getting to know the people we train.

All information and materials provided during training are intended to be used in the workplace. Our training is practical. Courses are intended to "empower" the participant. We are not only interested in our students' current reasons for attending a course, but additionally we hope to provide a foundation on which they can build.

Our courses don't end in class, because even the best training is wasted without periodic reinforcement. So we publish a weekly newsletter to remind past students about their training, and to provide topic updates when needed. You have already stumbled upon our website, which we hope will allow us to keep you up-to-date. We've launched this site with the information we think you might want at your fingertips. So we invite you to explore and let us know what you think.

Finally, we try to make our training fun, interesting and entertaining. We want our participants to feel comfortable, because that's when the best learning occurs. There is another reason: We enjoy providing training and we want our students to join in our enthusiasm.

That is OTI's training philosophy. Over the past few years ve have attempted to apply all of the above to providing training for our clients. Our client list is diverse.
